This is one of the strongest career line ups we have posted all summer: three investment and AI roles at the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund in Luxembourg, an energy specialist post rebuilding Ukraine's grid from the EIB office in Kyiv, a civil affairs research role with UN Peace Operations, monitoring and evaluation with the Global Green Growth Institute in Mexico, communications with the IOM in Chile, three paid public affairs traineeships in Brussels, and a long run of creative, technical, education and startup internships from Greece to Portugal.
The funding picture is mixed, so here is the honest version. Several roles are salaried or paid: the two EIB Investment Officer positions and the EIF compliance role in Luxembourg, the three Brussels public affairs traineeships at Acumen, the graphic design internship in Spain at 500 euro a month, the luxury travel role in Paris at 1,000 euro a month, and the GGGI internship in Mexico at 500 dollars a month. Several Greek and Spanish placements come with an Erasmus+ grant, free accommodation or free meals. Others are unpaid but open doors that are very hard to open any other way, at the UN, at EU institutions and inside specialist agencies. The one thing all 32 share is the clock.
