There is no waiting on these. Right now there are 23 opportunities open across 17 countries, and every single one closes today, 5 August 2026: fully funded ESC volunteering from an orphan bear refuge in Croatia and a reforestation project deep in a Tanzanian nature reserve to health and gender work in rural Ghana, a run of UN internships from New York and Nairobi to Colombia and Senegal, and two Erasmus+ training courses in Latvia. From the Caucasus to West Africa, from a Sicilian children's centre to a printing museum in Estonia, this is a genuinely worldwide set of last-day openings. The clock is running on all of them.
The funding picture is mixed, so here is the honest version. The 11 ESC placements are fully funded: travel, accommodation, food, insurance and a monthly pocket money allowance are covered, though on the far-flung ones in Tanzania, Ghana and Georgia the travel grant works to a distance band. The two Erasmus+ courses in Latvia cover your travel and stay. Most of the UN internships are unpaid but open doors that are hard to open any other way, while the tech internship in Spain is paid and the Sri Lanka finance role comes with a monthly stipend. The one thing all 23 share is the deadline: applications close today, 5 August 2026.
