Most people think the European Solidarity Corps keeps you inside Europe, but it can take you all the way to Buenos Aires. The Jesuit Migrant Service (SJM) in Argentina is opening 3 fully funded ESC volunteering placements, all working with migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in the city: one in communications and advocacy, one supporting migrant women's initiatives, and one in education and inclusion for migrant children. If you want your volunteering to mean something and take you across the world, this is it. All three close as soon as possible, so move quickly.
Because these run through the European Solidarity Corps, the funding is covered: travel, accommodation, food, local transport, insurance, a monthly pocket money allowance and language and online training, with a mentor on site. You need to be a legal resident of an EU, associated or partner country and registered on the ESC portal. As Argentina is a long-haul destination, the travel grant works to a distance band, so it may not cover the full flight, but everything else is provided.
