If you have been waiting for the right fully funded volunteering project, here is a long and genuinely varied list to choose from. There are 24 European Solidarity Corps placements open right now across 15 countries, from caring for 120 donkeys on a Caribbean island in Aruba and standing with women's movements high in the Bolivian Andes to living off-grid on a Latvian permaculture homestead, fighting for Roma rights through media in Zagreb, and slow living with a L'Arche community in Vilnius. Several close as soon as possible, so the ones at the top are the ones to move on first.
Because these run through the European Solidarity Corps, the funding is covered: travel, accommodation, food, local transport, insurance, a monthly pocket money allowance and language and online training, with a mentor on site. You need to be a legal resident of an EU, associated or partner country and registered on the ESC portal, and each listing shows exactly who can apply. On the placements outside Europe, in Aruba and Bolivia, the travel grant works to a distance band, but everything else is provided. Deadlines run from as soon as possible to 18 August 2026.
