Spain is one of the most popular destinations for volunteering abroad, and right now there are 15 fully funded European Solidarity Corps placements open across the country. From building the sets of a historical re-enactment festival in rural Asturias and empowering women and migrants in Bilbao to teaching AI and sustainability in a school, supporting a village primary school in the Granada hills, and inclusion work with people with disabilities, there is a placement here for almost every interest. Several close as soon as 9 and 15 August, so the ones at the top are the ones to move on first.
Because these all run through the European Solidarity Corps, the funding is covered: travel, accommodation, food, local transport, insurance, a monthly pocket money allowance and language and online training, with a mentor on site. You need to be a legal resident of an EU, associated or partner country and registered on the ESC portal, and each listing shows exactly who can apply. A few ask for some Spanish or a sending organisation. Deadlines run from 9 August to 30 September 2026.
