Description

Join Pistes-Solidaires as a Youth Mobility Volunteer and help young people discover European opportunities through mobility, intercultural exchange, and international learning. The idea is to participate concretely and actively to the organization and facilitation of youth exchanges, workshops, training courses, and group hosting activities. This is a hands-on and dynamic role where every day brings new people, new ideas, and new experiences. We are looking for someone curious about Europe, motivated by youth work, open-minded, proactive, and comfortable working in teams and with people from different backgrounds. Based in Pau, Pistes-Solidaires combines a strong local identity with a deep European outlook, hosting several projects during the year. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteer will live in shared flat and will have a private bedroom. The volunteer will receive a monthly allowance for food and local transport + pocket money

Training during the activity

The volunteers will participate in an on-arrival and a midterm training organised by the National Agency. The costs are covered.

Participant profile

Are you between 18 and 30 years old, curious about Europe, and excited by international experiences? This opportunity is for someone open-minded, motivated, and eager to support young people in discovering mobility opportunities, joining exchanges, and getting ready for meaningful experiences abroad. The ideal volunteer enjoys teamwork, communication, and meeting people from different backgrounds. They should be comfortable both with office tasks and with more active roles such as welcoming international groups, supporting workshops and training courses, helping with youth exchanges, and creating a warm and positive atmosphere during activities. Good knowledge of English is important. A proactive attitude, a sense of initiative, and an interest in intercultural learning and youth work will make all the difference.
