Description

EXPERYMENT Science Centre is a modern scientific and educational playground for amateur explorers and the „learning through fun” philosophy followers of all ages. It is an educational institution popularizing science in the form of interactive installations and shows. Its goal is to combine science and fun, and to conduct activities that promote science. ESC volunteers are joining the educational projects team of the Centre. Their task is to support the educational activities in the field of science with actions and ideas.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteer will be provided with: - accommodation in a rented flat, in 1-2 persons room shared with other volunteers - monthly pocket money and allowance - monthly budget for bus ticket in Gdynia.


Training during the activity

Volunteer is obliged to participate in training provided by National Agency (On-arrival training and Mid-term training) as well as trainings run and and organized by supporting organization.

Participant profile

As a volunteer you will be working mainly in the Event Department. You will organize and implement many different events that the centre arrange each year (like Resercher's Night, Science com, Open'er Festiwal and others) Also, you can create and execute various workshops for children and adults . You'll have the opportunity to use your ideas to develop these activities. Additionally, you'll be able to participate and organize science shows, write science news on our social media, as well as attend and support the series of lectures organized by the centre. We are looking for volunteers who are communicative, open for new experiences, creative and inventive. The volunteer should be interested in methods of active education, open for people from other countries and cultures and like to co-operate and work in group. S/he should be open-minded to contribute with one’s own creativity and willing to develop his/her personality. How to apply?
