This internship is with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, based in Bogota, and supports the Office's public information work through photographic and video documentation.
๐ท Duties and Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities of the intern will depend on the individual's background and may include:
๐ธ Supporting the photographic and video documentation of events, activities and official engagements of the Office
โ๏ธ Assisting in the selection, editing and organization of photographic and visual materials
๐จ Supporting the development of visual content for communication and outreach purposes
๐๏ธ Assisting in maintaining and organizing photo and video archives and related materials
๐ค Supporting coordination related to public information and communication activities, as required
๐งฉ Performing other duties as requested by the supervisor, as appropriate

โ Qualifications and Special Skills
๐ Be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school programme, meaning a second university degree or equivalent or higher, or be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme, meaning minimum bachelor's level or equivalent
๐ Academic background in communications, photography, video, audiovisual production or related fields is desirable
๐ฃ๏ธ Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is required for the internship, and knowledge of English or another official United Nations language is an advantage.
