Daily responsibilities of the intern will depend on the individual's background and may include:

๐Ÿ“ธ Supporting the photographic and video documentation of events, activities and official engagements of the Office

โœ‚๏ธ Assisting in the selection, editing and organization of photographic and visual materials

๐ŸŽจ Supporting the development of visual content for communication and outreach purposes

๐Ÿ—„๏ธ Assisting in maintaining and organizing photo and video archives and related materials

๐Ÿค Supporting coordination related to public information and communication activities, as required

๐Ÿงฉ Performing other duties as requested by the supervisor, as appropriate

โœ… Qualifications and Special Skills

๐ŸŽ“ Be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school programme, meaning a second university degree or equivalent or higher, or be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme, meaning minimum bachelor's level or equivalent

๐Ÿ“š Academic background in communications, photography, video, audiovisual production or related fields is desirable

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Languages

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is required for the internship, and knowledge of English or another official United Nations language is an advantage.
