The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work with the Mexico Program to provide monitoring and reporting support for active projects. This is an opportunity to build practical experience in results-based management and MEL systems within a live international development portfolio, working closely with the Senior MEL Assistant.

๐ The Assignment
๐ Assist in monitoring Mexico's projects and support the organization, maintenance and quality assurance of project information across GGGI Online, Microsoft Teams and the CRM system, including file management, archiving, data updates and record keeping, ensuring project data and supporting evidence are accurate and up to date
๐ Contribute to internal and external reporting for GGGI projects, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, mid-year and end-of-year reports through data collection, consolidation and validation
๐ Support knowledge management and learning activities by helping systematize project information, lessons learned, presentations and other materials that facilitate reporting, decision-making and organizational learning
๐ค Provide additional support to the Senior MEL Assistant as needed
โ Eligibility
๐ Be enrolled in a bachelor's final year, master's or PhD program prior to the internship assignment, or have graduated within the last 12 months, in International Development, Environmental Sciences, Project Management, Economics, Social Sciences, Public Administration or a related field relevant to GGGI's work
๐ Be engaged or recently engaged in academic study in a field directly related to the Institute's work
๐ฃ๏ธ Possess an excellent command of English, written and verbal, for internal reporting and coordination with GGGI's global teams
๐ Qualifications
๐๏ธ Strong organizational, analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to manage data, synthesize information and produce high-quality outputs
๐ป Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
๐ Basic knowledge of monitoring and evaluation, results-based management, project management or data management is an asset
๐ Experience with databases and data visualization tools is an advantage
๐ Interest in climate change, sustainable development and international development

๐ถ Important Information
โณ Duration: the internship program is for at least three months and up to six months, and once selected, interns must begin their internship either prior to or within 12 months of graduation
๐ฐ Stipend: GGGI interns receive a monthly stipend of USD 500 per month, unless agreed to be funded by sponsoring institutions, and all costs related to travel, insurance, accommodation and living expenses must be borne by either the interns themselves or sponsoring institutions
๐ Visa: GGGI will provide a supporting letter for a visa, and interns are responsible for obtaining and financing the necessary visas
โ๏ธ Travel: interns arrange and finance their travel to the internship location
๐ฉบ Medical insurance: interns must present proof of valid medical insurance to GGGI upon returning the signed internship contract
๐ Confidentiality: interns must keep confidential any and all unpublished information obtained during the course of the internship and may not publish any documents based on such information
๐ Academic credit: interns may get academic credit from their institution of higher education for the internship, and should check with their university to confirm its academic credit policy for internships
๐ Working hours: interns are expected to work during normal working hours, and leave should be pre-approved by the Intern Manager, who should inform the Office of HR accordingly
๐ Learning outcomes: before completion of the internship, Intern Managers are expected to review the learning outcomes with the intern
๐ Certificate: provided upon successful completion of the internship, upon request
๐ง Child protection: GGGI is committed to child protection, irrespective of whether any specific area of work involves direct contact with children, and its Child Protection Policy is written in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child
