Thirty new European Solidarity Corps volunteering placements just opened across 17 countries, and at Youth Works Hub we've pulled them all into one place so you can see exactly what's out there before you commit to an application. Eleven of these are open now with no fixed deadline, meaning hosts are already reviewing applications on a rolling basis, so if one catches your eye, do not wait. The remaining nineteen close on specific dates between 05 September and 31 October, giving you more time to prepare a strong motivation letter for the ones further out.
This batch leans heavily into community and social work, but the range is wide. Spain alone brings five placements, from disability support and inclusive sports to youth information sessions, volunteer team coordination and EU-level advocacy communication. Italy offers four, including a nature museum's media team, a residential community for young girls, support for unaccompanied young migrants, and a rural garden project above the Amalfi Coast. France has three placements built around Roma community support, rural mobility outreach and youth work in Vierzon, while Tรผrkiye offers media production and disaster-preparedness roles in cities supporting refugees and earthquake-affected communities. Germany, Poland and a run of single-country placements, Serbia, Morocco, Nepal, Greece, Romania, Albania, Lithuania, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Malta, round out the list, covering everything from post-disaster recovery in Nepal to an LGBTIQ+ ambassador role at Ljubljana Pride and an IT-for-conservation placement in Malta.
As with every ESC placement, all 30 are fully funded, covering your flight, accommodation, food and a monthly allowance, so the main thing standing between you and one of these projects is the time it takes to write a strong application. Whether this is your first ESC placement or your fifth, read through the full list below before deciding which one actually fits your interests and availability.
Funding
All 30 placements are fully funded under the European Solidarity Corps: travel to and from the host country, accommodation, food and a monthly pocket money allowance are covered, along with insurance. Deadlines in this batch range from immediate, as soon as possible, through to 31 October 2026, so check each listing's own deadline and start date before applying.

Across these 30 placements, Youth Works Hub count projects in 17 countries, from language classes in Serbia to a wildlife conservation IT role in Malta, and from post-disaster recovery in Nepal to an LGBTIQ+ ambassador position at Ljubljana Pride. Eleven are open now with no fixed deadline, so those could close first; the remaining nineteen give you a longer runway, stretching from early September through the end of October. If community and social work is your focus, look closely at the placements in Spain and Italy, five and four respectively, covering everything from disability support to youth information and residential care for migrants and young girls. If you want something with real historical weight, the founding-stage placement in Chavdar, Bulgaria or the earthquake recovery work in Tรผrkiye and Morocco both offer genuinely hands-on impact.
Every one of these 30 placements is fully funded, so cost is not the barrier here, time and preparation are. Read the eligibility list on each listing carefully, since some are restricted to specific countries or open only to particular groups, and take the time to write a motivation letter that speaks to the specific project rather than a generic one you send everywhere. At Youth Works Hub, we track these opportunities as they open so you do not have to check a dozen sources yourself, and if you are new to the process, our guide on applying for ESC without making the common mistakes is worth a read before you submit. Check the deadlines, shortlist two or three that genuinely fit you, and apply.
