Description
Schulhaus Europa is a nonprofit organisation based in Leipzig (Germany) which organises and supports European mobility projects, primarily through the Erasmus+ programme. The organisation hosts young people and professionals on mobility programmes particularly for internships, by organising and supporting their stays. Through its various European projects, Schulhaus Europa promotes intercultural understanding, employability, global awareness, and European citizenship.
Your Tasks:
Help prepare for mobility programmes prior to the participants’ arrival
Help coordinate with European partners and local organisations
Help monitor the various stages of mobility projects
Welcome participants and help them get their bearings
Act as a point of contact during their stay and answer their questions
Organise and take part in group activities, outings and cultural visits
Create communication materials and update our social media channels
Help improve the tools and resources for future participants
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
We provide you with a furnished room in a shared apartment with a shared kitchen and bathroom. For your meals you will receive a financial allowance and pocket money. You will also receive a financial amount with which you can buy a ticket for the tram in Leipzig. Optionally and if you want, we provide you with a bicycle to explore the city and the surrounding.
Training during the activity
In addition to the National Agency seminars, there is an educational seminar day every two months with your tutor and other volunteers. Here, we exchange information about your work and everyday life and combine this with excursions, educational content or experiential educational activities. In addition, you will receive a language course based on your individual language level.
