Description
The Les Avant-Monts community is looking for TWO European volunteer to take part in activities for children and young people.
Your main tasks will include:
- Taking part in educational, cultural, sports and leisure activities;
- Helping to develop intercultural workshops and language cafés;
- Promoting European mobility through podcasts, videos and interviews;
- Raising awareness of environmental issues;
- Visiting and supporting local organisations working in the fields of nature, sport and the environment;
- Helping to organise local events across the Occitanie region.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The trip between the place of departure and arrival will be covered. You will live in together with the other volunteer. The apartment is furnished and gives you enough space to organize yourself. You will be accompanied by a French volunteer during your missions. You will have access to public transport (with a bus card) and a bicycle will be available for you during your stay. The apartment is 15 minutes away from the organisation. Every month you will receive money for food and also pocket money.
Training during the activity
An arrival seminar, a mid-term one and a closing seminar performed by the French Agency. French course, learning the French language with EU Academy ( 2 to 4 hours per week recommended). Participation in training with and for the animation team.
