At Youth Works Hub, we read all six of these Erasmus+ listings in full, and each one is a funded chance to build new skills for your work with young people. There are four residential training courses in Belgium, Germany and France, one online session run from Spain and one Partnership-building Activity in Madeira, Portugal, and all six close on 6 or 7 October 2026. Five of them run in November and December 2026, while the online session takes place on 8 October. If you are new to this format, it helps to know what an Erasmus+ training course is before you apply.
Each activity has a different focus. In Brugge, Belgium, Intersect in Diversity brings together youth workers from faith-based organisations and from organisations that are not, to explore identity, queer communities and faith. In Berlin, Talent Push e.V. runs two separate courses: VERTICAL VOICES on smartphones, storytelling and vertical video, and STORY2SPEAK on creative autobiography, Photovoice, theatre and digital storytelling. In France, Common Ground links ecology and peacebuilding, and in Madeira, A Drop Brings Change is a contact-making seminar for organisations that want to develop projects on water awareness. The online session is part of the EAC EMPOWER Impact Series and focuses on kind and constructive feedback. Like other forms of Erasmus+ mobility of youth workers, they are aimed at people active in youth work, from youth workers and trainers to NGO staff and volunteers, depending on the activity.
Check the country list before you apply: the two Berlin courses accept applicants from seven and five countries, Common Ground in France from eight and the online session from five. Several organisers also offer a higher travel budget for green travel, and some ask you to have your travel plans approved before you buy tickets.
Funding
According to Youth Works Hub's review of the listings, none of the six charges a participation fee. For the residential activities, accommodation and meals are covered or arranged by the organisers, and travel is reimbursed up to a set maximum that depends on distance or on your country:
🇧🇪 Brugge: board, lodging, local transport and programme costs are covered upon full participation.
🇩🇪 Berlin: shared rooms at the venue in Berlin-Heiligensee with three meals a day, for both courses.
🇫🇷 France: accommodation and meals are arranged by the organisers, with travel to Evian-les-Bains.
🇵🇹 Madeira: accommodation and full board are free, but participants cover their own local transport to their departure airport and from Madeira Airport to the venue.
The online session is free and needs no travel. Three activities close on 6 October and three on 7 October.

1. 🇧🇪 Erasmus+ Training Course in Belgium 🏳️🌈 Faith Identity and Open Dialogue for Inclusive Youth Work 🕊️

Intersect in Diversity is a training course in Brugge, Belgium, from 16 to 23 November 2026, organised by Bosco Base together with Maricuir (Spain) and Salesianische Jugendbewegung Österreich (Austria). It brings 26 youth workers together to explore identity, queer communities and faith, and to build empathy, dialogue skills and inclusive support for LGBTQI+ youth from diverse backgrounds. The programme focuses on dialogue-based learning, active listening and conflict-sensitive communication, and it deliberately brings together youth workers from faith-based organisations and from organisations that are not. It is for youth workers, educators, mentors and community leaders with direct experience of working with young people. There is no upper age limit, but participants must be 18 or over, and only residents of EU Member States and third countries associated with the Programme can take part. There is no participation fee. Board, lodging, local transport and programme costs are covered upon full participation, and travel is reimbursed on actual costs up to the distance-band limit. Selection is on 10 October.
2. 🇩🇪 Erasmus+ Training Course in Germany 📱 Digital Storytelling and Vertical Video for Youth Workers 🎬

VERTICAL VOICES is a practical training course in Berlin, Germany, from 12 to 19 November 2026, organised by Talent Push e.V. for 21 youth workers who want to use storytelling, smartphones and short vertical video for participation, self-expression and non-formal learning. Participants learn mainly by doing: developing stories, filming, editing, facilitating activities and exploring consent, privacy, safeguarding and responsible publishing. It is aimed at youth workers, youth leaders, trainers, facilitators, project managers, NGO staff and active volunteers who work directly with young people, and professional filmmaking experience is not required. There is no participation fee. Accommodation in shared rooms and three meals a day are covered, and travel is reimbursed up to a set maximum per country, with travel plans approved before you buy tickets. Participants should be 18 or over and able to work in English, and only applicants from Georgia, Germany, Greece, North Macedonia, Portugal, Serbia and Türkiye can apply.
3. 🇪🇸 Erasmus+ Online E Learning by Spain 💬 Safe Space Kind and Constructive Feedback 🌱
📅 Deadline: 6 October 2026
This is a 1.5-hour online session on Zoom on Thursday 8 October 2026, from 17:00 to 18:30 CET, organised by EA Consulting as session 3 of 30 in the EAC EMPOWER Impact Series. As part of the HATE-LESS project, participants explore supportive feedback rules that help young people evaluate ideas thoughtfully while respecting the person behind them, and practise receiving feedback without letting resistance take over. The session uses non-formal methods, the HATE-LESS participatory video approach and hands-on video creation exercises, for up to 50 youth workers, trainers, youth leaders, volunteering mentors and youth coaches. There is no participation fee, and only applicants from Cyprus, Estonia, France, Germany and Spain can apply.
4. 🇩🇪 Erasmus+ Training Course in Germany ✍️ Creative Autobiography and Storytelling for Youth Work 🎭

STORY2SPEAK is a training course in Berlin, Germany, from 3 to 10 November 2026, organised by Talent Push e.V. for 20 youth workers, educators, trainers and facilitators. Participants experiment with creative writing, autobiographical theatre and movement, Photovoice and digital storytelling as tools for identity, self-expression and inclusion, with particular attention to consent, boundaries, emotional safety and trauma-aware facilitation. No previous experience in writing, acting, photography or filmmaking is required, and each participant develops a follow-up plan to use at least one method in their own youth work. There is no participation fee and, as the listing puts it, no contribution will be requested before departure or during the project. Accommodation in shared rooms at a group house in Heiligensee and full board are covered, participants bring their own towel, and travel is reimbursed on real costs up to a set maximum per country, with written approval needed before you buy tickets. Only applicants from Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Slovakia and Spain can apply.
5. 🇫🇷 Erasmus+ Training Course in France 🕊️ Linking Ecology and Peacebuilding for Youth Work 🌍

Common Ground is a training course in France from 7 to 14 December 2026, organised by YPAN France for 32 youth workers who want to explore the connection between ecology and peacebuilding. Through non-formal education, experiential learning, creative methods and time in nature, participants look at how environmental issues can fuel conflict and how peacebuilding approaches can promote ecological justice, with tools for conflict transformation, eco-anxiety support and community resilience. The course also aims to support participants in designing at least five local eco-peacebuilding initiatives in their communities. The training is free, accommodation and meals are arranged by the organisers, and travel to Evian-les-Bains is reimbursed up to a limit that depends on the country, with green travel required from within France. Only applicants from Cyprus, France, Germany, Italy, Kosovo, Portugal, Serbia and Spain can apply.
6. 🇵🇹 Erasmus+ Training Course in Portugal 💧 Water Awareness and Environmental Project Partnerships 🤝

A Drop Brings Change is a contact-making seminar in Câmara de Lobos, Madeira, Portugal, from 14 to 19 December 2026, organised by Youth Bridges Budapest for 12 representatives of European youth and environmental organisations. It is designed for NGO staff, project managers, grant writers and decision-makers whose organisations want to develop future European project proposals, especially under Erasmus+, CERV, LIFE or Horizon Europe, around water awareness, environmental responsibility and active citizenship. The listing classifies it as a Partnership-building Activity. There is no participation fee and accommodation and full board are free, while flights are reimbursed after the seminar on actual costs up to €395, €580 or €1,188 depending on distance, within 60 days of submitting all documents and completing the follow-up activities. Participants cover their own local transport to the departure airport and from Madeira Airport to the venue. Selection is on 14 October.
If you want hands-on creative methods, look at the two Berlin courses: one for smartphone storytelling and vertical video, the other for creative autobiography and theatre. For inclusion and dialogue, Intersect in Diversity in Brugge works on the meeting point of faith and LGBTQI+ identities, while Common Ground in France connects climate, conflict and peace. If your organisation is looking for partners for 2027 project proposals, A Drop Brings Change in Madeira is built for that, and the online session is a single 1.5-hour session within a 30-week series. Time is short. Brugge, VERTICAL VOICES and the online session close on 6 October, and STORY2SPEAK, Common Ground and A Drop Brings Change close on 7 October.
