L’École de Cirque de Bruxelles is a unique institution that welcomes everyone — young and old, amateur and professional — to develop through circus arts. Their own specific pedagogy is built around inclusion and personal growth, and their social projects bring circus to people with functional diversity and those with fewer opportunities. The school is a genuine microcosm of modern urban society.

📋 What You’ll Do

🎭 Be part of the circus school team — helping during events and circus projects

🎪 Support the Circus Arts Academy — weekly classes across all levels

🎓 Assist with professional training programmes

❤️ Contribute to social projects for people with functional diversity or fewer opportunities

🌍 Participate in international activities and performing group projects

🤸 Optionally — try circus techniques yourself through adult classes, experiencing the pedagogy firsthand

🎁 What the Project Provides

🏠 Rent paid directly by the school

💶 Monthly allowance covering food, transport, and pocket money

🧑‍🏫 Support from a dedicated mentor for practical and wellbeing aspects

👤 A reference person for all circus school activities

🎪 The opportunity to discover circus pedagogy by joining adult circus technique classes — encouraged but not mandatory

👤 Who Should Apply

L’École de Cirque de Bruxelles is looking for volunteers who:

🌍 Have experience and/or motivation to explore the socio-cultural sector

🎭 Appreciate or have experience in the cultural field

🇫🇷 Speak enough French to communicate with the team — important for day-to-day work

🤝 Are open-minded, team-oriented, and highly adaptable

❤️ Share the school’s values and have a genuine interest in circus projects
