๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฒ ESC Volunteering in Armenia ๐ŸŽจ Early Childhood Education & Creative Learning at Dzer Gitake ๐Ÿ‘ถ

A kindergarten with a decade of experience, a self-developed curriculum that goes well beyond the basics, and children aged 3 to 6 who learn through language, music, dance, art, and mathematics every single day. This ESC placement in Armenia is for someone who brings energy, creativity, and genuine motivation to work with young children.

Dzer Gitake is an established early childhood centre founded in 2014, running a comprehensive and self-developed educational programme for children aged 3 to 6. Beyond academic learning, the centre prioritises helping children socialise, understand others’ feelings, and cope with stress โ€” a holistic approach that makes this placement genuinely meaningful.

This placement is organised in partnership with sending organisation ICJA โ€“ Freiwilligenaustausch Weltweit and is open to participants from Germany only.

What Is This Role About?

As a volunteer at Dzer Gitake, you will be an active participant in all programmes โ€” not a passive observer. The centre covers languages, mathematics, art, music, dance, and more, and volunteers are encouraged to propose their own ideasand contribute to the life of the kindergarten. Alongside working with children, you will also engage with staff members, which helps with integration into local society and gives you a genuine window into Armenian culture.
