ESC volunteering in 2026 continues to expand into destinations and project types that most young people don’t expect — and this batch of 16 opportunities is a clear demonstration. Azerbaijan, Georgia, Malta, Lithuania, Estonia, Netherlands, Czechia, Belgium, Romania, Poland, Italy, Slovakia, and Türkiye all appear on the same fully funded list. The European Solidarity Corps covers flight, accommodation, food, and monthly pocket money for every ESC placement regardless of destination — whether that’s post-conflict Gori in Georgia or a forest eco-community inside a Dutch city.

The thematic range here is equally wide. Peace-building with youth in a post-conflict community, wildlife photography and nature conservation on a Mediterranean island, circus school social inclusion in Brussels, off-grid animal care with cows and horses in an urban forest, intergenerational care with seniors and young mothers under one roof, and workcamp leadership inside a Prague NGO — these are specific, purposeful placements built around real missions that require real commitment.

For students and career-starters, the two internships — a contemporary art gallery in Porto and a bilingual preschool in Agrigento — offer structured creative and educational experience eligible for Erasmus+ mobility funding. Deadlines start 28 April. Three placements are ASAP.
