💡 Project Overview
Join a heartwarming European Solidarity Corps experience in Karlsruhe, Germany, and contribute to one of the most inspiring early education projects hosted by AWO Karlsruhe gemeinnützige GmbH! 🇩🇪
The Inclusive Day Care Centre “Kita im Weiherwald” welcomes children aged 1 to 6 years, creating a joyful, multicultural environment where inclusion is at the heart of every activity. This volunteering opportunity focuses on integration, creativity, and social inclusion, where every child — regardless of background or ability — is encouraged to grow and learn together. 🌱
As a volunteer, you will:
🎨 Support the educational team in daily creative activities and play sessions
🧩 Help children with and without disabilities integrate and express themselves
🌍 Organise cultural and outdoor activities — from museum visits to park adventures
🎭 Share your own culture and ideas with the group, inspiring curiosity and diversity
The project is based on a pedagogical concept of inclusion and learning through nature, making it an enriching experience for both volunteers and children. 🌳💬
