🇩🇪 ESC Volunteering in Germany 🌿 Permaculture and Gardening Volunteer at ISKCON Vedic Farm Community 🥕

A self-sufficient community of around 40 people. Raised beds, greenhouses, and a working permaculture garden in rural Bavaria. Autumn harvests, winter preparation, and the full cycle of vegetable production — from sowing to the table. ISKCON Jandelsbrunn is offering an 8-week ESC volunteering placement for young people aged 18–30 who want hands-on experience in permaculture, gardening, and sustainable community living.

🌱 About the Community

ISKCON Jandelsbrunn is a Vedic farm community in rural Germany pursuing self-sufficiency through permaculture and organic gardening. The community numbers around 40 people and lives and works together in close relationship with the land. Volunteers become an active part of this daily rhythm — guided by gardening and environmental experts.

📋 What You’ll Do

🌱 Maintain the garden, raised beds, and greenhouses

🍂 Help prepare for winter and the autumn harvest

🥦 Participate in the full vegetable production process — sowing, tending, and harvesting

🏗️ Contribute to practical permaculture implementation on the farm

💡 Start your own project and bring your own ideas in various fields — under expert guidance

🏠 Accommodation and Food

🛏️ Shared rooms with attached toilets located on site

🥗 Three meals per day — a diverse selection of fresh vegetarian and vegan dishes

🚗 Transport support for arrival and departure organised by the project team

👤 Who Should Apply

This programme is open to young people aged 18–30 of all genders and beliefs who are:
