The Finnish Association for Nature Conservation (FANC) is one of Finlandโs oldest and most influential environmental organisations, committed to biodiversity protection, sustainability, and renewable energy promotion. It manages EKOenergy, an international ecolabel that promotes sustainable energy use worldwide.
๐ About the Project
EKOenergy is a global non-profit ecolabel for renewable energy, managed by the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation. ๐ฟ
It helps individuals, businesses, and institutions choose sustainable electricity and energy sources, while supporting climate and biodiversity projects globally.
For 2026, EKOenergy is looking for three new ESC volunteers โ especially from France, the Iberian Peninsula (Spain & Portugal), and Eastern Europe โ to join the Secretariat team in Helsinki.
Volunteers will:
โก Support outreach and communication to promote EKOenergy across Europe
๐ฌ Contact energy consumers, NGOs, and companies interested in renewable energy
๐ Assist with administration, research, and social media content
๐ Take part in climate campaigns and awareness-raising actions

Weโre looking for motivated, socially aware, and environmentally passionate young people aged 18โ30 who are:
- ๐ Interested inย climate action and environmental protection
- โ๏ธ Comfortable withย reading, writing, and computer-based work
- ๐ฌ Skilled communicators and eager to learn about digital outreach
- ๐ค Open to teamwork and international collaboration
- ๐ง Able to work precisely and independently
- ๐ From France, Iberia, or Eastern Europe
