The window on these is almost shut. Fourteen opportunities are open across 9 countries, and every one of them closes on 23 or 24 July 2026. The mix is wide: rescuing seabirds harmed by light pollution on a volcanic Atlantic island in Portugal, youth engagement at the UN Youth Office in New York, an entry level Funding Officer job at the European Stability Mechanism in Luxembourg, paid communications work with Europe's electricity industry in Brussels, organic farming for social inclusion at a psychiatric hospital in Thessaloniki, and social media for a folk dance ensemble in Hungary. From Algiers to a rural Breton school, this is a genuinely varied set of closing opportunities.

The funding is mixed, so it is worth being clear. The 7 European Solidarity Corps placements are fully funded: travel, accommodation, food, insurance and pocket money are covered, for volunteers aged 18 to 30. One Brussels internship is explicitly paid, the Luxembourg role is a graduate job, and the UN internships are unpaid but hard to beat for experience. A few placements carry conditions, from residency rules to a female only centre, and those are flagged below. The deadlines are 23 and 24 July 2026.
