About the Organisation
The Union of the Electricity Industry, Eurelectric, is the sector association representing the common interests of the electricity industry at pan-European level, plus its affiliates and associates on several other continents. It currently has over 34 full members, representing the electricity industry in 32 European countries.
Your Role
📰 Write weekly in-depth newsletters for the LinkedIn readership
✉️ Coordinate the newsletter service dedicated to Eurelectric members
✍️ Prepare first drafts for op-eds, news pieces, and SEO articles
📝 Proofread policy papers
🤝 Support the team with any ad-hoc communication tasks related to campaigns, projects, events, and media
Requirements and Competencies
🎓 Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, European Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Energy/Climate Studies, or another relevant field
🚀 A team player with a proactive, dynamic personality, eager to learn
⚡ A proven interest in the essential role electricity will play for Europe's decarbonisation, energy security, and competitiveness is a plus
💻 Full literacy in WordPress, Mailchimp, and social media posting is a plus
🗣️ Native English or equivalent
