About the Organisation
The Union of the Electricity Industry, Eurelectric, is the sector association representing the common interests of the electricity industry at pan-European level, plus its affiliates and associates on several other continents. It currently has over 34 full members, representing the electricity industry in 32 European countries.
Your Role
๐ฐ Write weekly in-depth newsletters for the LinkedIn readership
โ๏ธ Coordinate the newsletter service dedicated to Eurelectric members
โ๏ธ Prepare first drafts for op-eds, news pieces, and SEO articles
๐ Proofread policy papers
๐ค Support the team with any ad-hoc communication tasks related to campaigns, projects, events, and media
Requirements and Competencies
๐ Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, European Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Energy/Climate Studies, or another relevant field
๐ A team player with a proactive, dynamic personality, eager to learn
โก A proven interest in the essential role electricity will play for Europe's decarbonisation, energy security, and competitiveness is a plus
๐ป Full literacy in WordPress, Mailchimp, and social media posting is a plus
๐ฃ๏ธ Native English or equivalent
What They Offer
๐ถ A paid internship, with a base allowance as per the contract for professional integration (CIP)
๐ Available from September 2026 for a period of about 6 months (September 2026 to February 2027)
