Floods. Ecological collapse. Communities in crisis. Youth workers are often the first to show up โ but how prepared are they really? Youth Work in Ecological Crisis is an Erasmus+ training course bringing together 20 youth workers from four European countries at the historic Burg Tannroda in Thuringia, Germany, to build real skills in disaster preparedness, crisis response, and ecological resilience.
๐ฐ The Venue โ Burg Tannroda
The training takes place at Burg Tannroda, a medieval castle located in the scenic countryside near Bad Berka, Thuringia. Surrounded by hills and forests, it offers both historical depth and a tranquil natural setting โ the kind of place that actually matches the work being done inside it.
