🏢 About the Role

This internship is based at one of TTT’s social inclusion partners in Agrigento. You’ll be working directly alongside educators, psychologists, and social workers in settings that serve children, adolescents, families, and people with disabilities. The work is varied, human, and deeply hands-on — from supporting individual sessions to designing and facilitating creative workshops.

📋 Main Tasks

👩‍🏫 Support to Educators & Psychologists

🧑‍⚕️ Accompany educators and psychologists during individual and group sessions with children, adolescents, and families

📝 Contribute to note-taking, preparation of materials, and follow-up activities

🤝 Assist in creating a supportive environment for participants during interviews and meetings

🎨 Workshop Design & Facilitation

✏️ Collaborate in the design of workshops for disadvantaged children and adolescents — focusing on self-expression, teamwork, and communication

🎭 Help animate and lead creative, educational, and recreational activities that address current social issues

♿ Adapt activities to the needs of participants, fostering inclusion and active participation

📚 After-School Support

🧩 Provide assistance to children and young people with Specific Learning Disabilities (DSA) and ADHD

📖 Support homework, study skills, and organisational strategies adapted to individual needs

💪 Encourage motivation, autonomy, and self-confidence in the learning process

🌍 Work with Vulnerable Groups

👐 Participate in activities aimed at the social inclusion of people with disabilities and developmental difficulties

🎯 Assist in recreational, educational, or rehabilitative programmes for children with special needs

🔗 Cross-Cutting Responsibilities

📋 Collaborate with the hosting team to plan and evaluate activities

🌍 Promote intercultural dialogue and bring a European dimension to local initiatives

📣 Contribute to communication and dissemination — documenting experiences, sharing results, preparing short reports

📅 Available to join in Agrigento for at least 4 months

🗣️ Intermediate level (B1) of French and either English or Italian — all three language requirements apply
