This ESC Humanitarian Aid volunteering opportunity takes place in Alvorada, Porto Alegre, Brazil 🇧🇷 within the Umbúntu Social Project — a community and cultural space located in a disadvantaged district.

The project combines humanitarian engagement, community development, intercultural exchange, and environmental sustainability. Volunteers will support social inclusion initiatives while actively contributing to eco-friendly practices and climate awareness actions.

Umbúntu offers workshops and activities focused on culture, creativity, and sustainable living, creating a vibrant non-formal learning environment.

🎯 Volunteer Role

✨ Support and facilitate workshops on edible plant processing, handicrafts, capoeira, percussion, and language teaching
✨ Apply non-formal education methods in community-based activities
✨ Participate in farming and permaculture gardening
✨ Contribute to eco-construction and manual sustainability projects
✨ Promote climate awareness and green alternatives
✨ Encourage intercultural dialogue within the local community
