This ESC Humanitarian Aid volunteering opportunity takes place in Tegucigalpa, Honduras ๐ญ๐ณ supporting TECHOโs communication, marketing, and public relations strategy.
The volunteer will contribute to strengthening institutional positioning, increasing media visibility, and enhancing digital communication strategies within a humanitarian and social justice framework.
This is a strategic communication-focused role within a multidisciplinary team addressing poverty and inequality from a human rights perspective.
๐ฏ Volunteer Role
โจ Support the development and implementation of institutional communication strategies
โจ Design campaigns aligned with organisational goals
โจ Manage and strengthen relationships with media, journalists, and influencers
โจ Support digital channels: social media, website, and email marketing
โจ Coordinate press releases and media dissemination
โจ Contribute to livestreams, podcasts, performances, and creative formats
โจ Support media coverage of events and field activities
โจ Monitor communication metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
โจ Collaborate with volunteering, community management, housing, finance, and other departments

๐ค Participant Profile
๐ฅ Age 18โ35
๐ Resident in an EU Member State, North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Tรผrkiye
๐ Completed compulsory Humanitarian Aid Volunteering training
๐ซ Must not have previously participated in individual Humanitarian Aid Volunteering
โณ Total EU volunteering experience must not exceed 12 months
๐ผ Experience in civil society organisations preferred
๐จ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva) or similar
๐ Experience in content writing and press releases desirable
๐ฃ Proficient Spanish required
๐ Ability to measure communication impact and adjust strategy
๐ค Strong coordination and organisational skills
