🌍 About the Project

“You Future” is an ESC Team Volunteering project taking place in Sorgun, Yozgat, Türkiye 🇹🇷 focused on disaster preparedness, climate change, and community resilience.

In each team, 10 young volunteers will join forces to strengthen awareness and preparedness at local level. The project combines training, workshops, field visits, and community-based activities to build a more resilient and disaster-ready society.

Volunteers will not only receive structured learning but will actively transfer their knowledge to children, young people, and adults in the local community.

🎯 What Will You Do?

✨ Participate in trainings on disaster preparedness, climate change, and post-disaster recovery
✨ Take part in workshops, seminars, and field visits
✨ Organise awareness events and campaigns for the local community
✨ Deliver educational sessions for children and young people
✨ Promote intercultural dialogue and cooperation
✨ Contribute to building a disaster-resilient society

🏠 Accommodation, Food and Financial Support

🏡 Shared apartment in Sorgun with double rooms, bathrooms, and shared kitchen
🌐 Internet access and equipped kitchen utensils
🤝 Living together with other ESC volunteers

💶 €6 per day pocket money
💶 €6 per day food allowance
✈️ Travel costs reimbursed according to ESC distance calculator
🛡 Insurance and Youthpass provided under ESC rules
