๐ About the Project
Hosted byย SORGUN GENรLฤฐK DERNEฤฤฐ (SORGED), theย YOU FUTUREย ESC volunteering teams project brings together young people from across Europe for an intensive 30-day experience focused onย disaster preparedness, climate change education, post-disaster recovery, and community resilience.

Each team includesย 10 volunteersย who train, learn, collaborate, and then engage the local community through awareness activities, workshops, campaigns, and youth sessions.
The project aims to build a disaster-ready society while strengthening intercultural understanding and solidarity. ๐ช๏ธ๐ฑ๐ค
๐ฏ What You Will Do
Volunteers will:
- Join daily workshops onย disaster preparedness,ย climate change, andย recovery strategies
- Participate in seminars, field visits, team activities & community campaigns
- Organise awareness sessions forย children, youth, and adultsย in Yozgat
- Lead activities promoting climate awareness & disaster readiness
- Work in an intercultural team for one month
- Support public campaigns and community learning events

๐ Accommodation, Food & Transport
- Shared apartment in Sorgun (double rooms, shared kitchen & bathroom)
- Fully equipped with kitchen utensils + internet access
- Provided by SORGED for a safe and comfortable stay
Daily Allowances: - โฌ6/day pocket money
- โฌ6/day food allowance
Travel reimbursement is provided according to ESC rules (distance calculator), reimbursed after submitting valid travel documents. ๐กโ๏ธ๐ถ
๐ Training During the Activity
Volunteers will receive:
- Training on disaster preparedness, climate change, post-disaster recovery, community resilience
- Workshops & seminars by experts
- Field visits with local institutions
- Experience in organising community education activities
This 30-day programme builds strong skills for environmental, civic, and humanitarian engagement. ๐๐๐ฑ
