🎯 Main Objectives of the Internship
During this internship, the selected candidate will:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of SI’s programmes and emergency/humanitarian context
- Understand SI’s internal operational, grant, and partnership management procedures
- Support communication flows between HQ, country offices, and desks
- Learn donor rules, project cycle management tools, and internal compliance requirements
- Understand strategic planning processes in a major humanitarian NGO
📝 Key Responsibilities
You will support RPDOs (Référents Partenariat & Développement Opérationnel) and the Service Manager with:
- ✍️ Drafting proposals and donor reports
- 🤝 Supporting country offices with grant & partnership management
- 📊 Administrative and operational tasks
- 🔎 Donor intelligence and internal knowledge-building
- 🗂️ Coordination between HQ, desks, and field teams
- 🧩 Participation in internal meetings, briefings, and capacity-building sessions
🎓 Required Profile
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in:
- International relations
- Political science
- Humanitarian studies
- Project management
- Water/security/rehabilitation-related fields
- 🧠 Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills
- 💬 Fluent English (French highly preferred)
- 🌍 Motivation to work internationally & in humanitarian settings
- 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
💰 Compensation & Benefits
- 5.60 €/hour (PAID)
- 50% transport reimbursement
- Meal vouchers at 8.90 € / day (60% covered by SI)
- Mandatory internship agreement required
