The United Nations Department of Peace Operations (DPO) is offering an exciting Public Information Internshipsupporting the Justice and Corrections Service (JCS) in New York, USA 🇺🇸.
This role supports global peacekeeping missions by helping strengthen justice, corrections, rule of law, public outreach, and strategic communication.

The position is full-time or part-time, with options for in-person, hybrid, or remote participation.

🌟 Responsibilities

🟦 Assist with strategic communication and outreach for justice & corrections
🟦 Draft, edit, and support the production of stories, newsletters, reports
🟦 Develop multimedia content for web & social media
🟦 Support data visualization and interactive materials
🟦 Conduct research for communication outputs
🟦 Monitor analytics (Twitter Analytics, Facebook Insights, Talkwalker)
🟦 Assist with public information tasks as needed

🎓 Required Qualifications

✔️ Enrolled in or graduated from a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programme
✔️ Strong English proficiency
✔️ Experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, Teams
✔️ Interest in peace operations, rule of law, communications, or public information
✔️ Ability to interact in multicultural environments
✔️ Strong writing, drafting, and communication skills
