The EZ-Trainee Programme prepares young professionals for roles across German and multilateral development organizations.
Over 17 months, trainees complete four practice phases:

1. 1-month preparation phase
2. 2-month placement at PTB Headquarters (Germany)
3. 8-month assignment in Morocco (this position)
4. 2-month placement at an international organization
5. 4-month concluding assignment at BMZ

Your work supports the project “Strengthening Quality Infrastructure for Renewable Energies and Green Hydrogen”, contributing to Morocco’s energy transition and competitiveness.

The project enhances the technological capacity of the solar photovoltaic sector while developing reliable structures for the emerging green hydrogen value chain.

Work themes include:
• Quality assurance
• Regulatory frameworks
• Technical standards
• Laboratory training support
• Awareness-raising for QI in renewable energy

🛠️ Your Tasks (1st Practice Phase)

✨ Support reporting (including reports to BMZ)
✨ Assist in organizing trainings for laboratory personnel

🎓 Candidate Profile

You must hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in one of the following:

• Energy economics
• Engineering (e.g., industrial engineering)
• International cooperation with an energy focus
• Economics related to energy
• Comparable fields

Required:

✔️ Fluency in French, German, and English
✔️ Proven academic knowledge in renewable energy
✔️ Readiness for multiple location changes
✔️ Intercultural competence
✔️ Understanding of development cooperation
✔️ Willingness to work in different organizations
✔️ First hands-on experience in a developing country (Internships count)

🌍 Location & Mobility

The primary assignment is in Rabat, with occasional domestic travel.
