🌍 About the Project

This ESC Team Volunteering activity takes place in Crotone, Italy 🇮🇹 and focuses on social inclusion, community development, and intercultural cooperation.

The hosting cooperative works on socio-cultural and economic improvement through language and job training, innovative workshops for minors, activities combating educational poverty, local promotion, migrant support, and the dissemination of alternative economic models.

Volunteers will actively contribute to hostel management, outdoor renovation, farm activities, social support initiatives, and creative content production while engaging with the local community.

💶 Pocket money: €17 per day (travel costs included in this amount – keep all tickets and boarding passes)

🎓 On-arrival training (first 7 days) organised by the coordinating organisation
📝 Mid-term evaluation
🏅 Final evaluation + Youthpass Certificate (2 days)

💼 Main Activities

✨ Support hostel management and renovation activities
✨ Maintain open and green spaces
✨ Participate in farm activities and cooking with local products
✨ Support activities with migrants and food distribution initiatives
✨ Create social media content and collaborate with the local newspaper
✨ Join comics workshops, dance classes, and cultural exchange activities
✨ Propose and facilitate workshops based on your own interests

👤 Participant Profile

👤 Aged 18–30
👤 Resident or citizen of an EU country (including Italy)
👤 Available for the full project period
👤 Experience in video-making or youth work OR long-term unemployed / from rural areas / disadvantaged economic background
👤 Comfortable with outdoor and manual work
👤 Curious, creative, open-minded, and group-oriented
👤 Interested in working with young people and hostel guests
👤 Knowledge of video editing is an advantage
