🌱 Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Individual Volunteering opportunity takes place in Forlì, Italy 🇮🇹 and focuses on social inclusion, autonomy, well-being, and creative expression for adults with disabilities. Volunteers support everyday life, recreational moments, and creative workshops in a residential environment designed to foster independence and personal development.
🎯 Volunteering Activities
Volunteers will be involved in daily and creative activities, including:
🤝 Supporting residents in everyday routines that build autonomy and independence
🎨 Assisting with recreational activities and creative workshops
🧩 Encouraging personal interests, hobbies, and social interaction
🏠 Contributing to a supportive living environment focused on inclusion and empowerment
👥 Working closely with a multidisciplinary team in a community-based setting
🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport
🏠 Shared apartment with other ESC volunteers, single room provided
🍽️ Shared kitchen, bathroom, and common living space
🚲 Bicycle provided for independent mobility in the city
🗓️ Working time: 32–35 hours per week, two days off per week and two holiday days per month (to be agreed with the supervisor)
🎓 Training & Learning Opportunities
🧠 Learning how to support people with disabilities and work in a team
🗣️ Italian language course offered
🌍 Trainings on volunteering, multicultural learning, and social inclusion
🤝 Opportunity to connect with other international volunteers hosted in the same city

🎂 Aged 18–30
🤍 Strong interest in working with people with disabilities
🔄 Flexible, motivated, and willing to get involved in daily community life
🗣️ Basic knowledge of Italian or a strong willingness to learn the language
