This European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Individual Volunteering opportunity takes place in Ruffec, France ๐ซ๐ท and focuses on European values, inclusion, equality, education, and youth empowerment. Volunteers contribute to educational activities, support Erasmus+ mobilities, strengthen local partnerships, and enhance digital communication around European initiatives.
๐ฏ Volunteering Activities
Volunteers will be engaged in four core activity areas:
๐ช๐บ Education in European Values โ Co-facilitating sessions on Europe and its values with young people
โ๏ธ Support for European Partnerships โ Preparing students for Erasmus+ KA01 mobilities (linguistic, moral, and mental preparation) and contributing to future KA02 project development
๐ค Local Outreach & Partnerships โ Developing projects with local partners and community organisations
๐ป Digital Communication โ Showcasing European and local actions via digital tools (website, social media, internal displays)
๐ก Accommodation, Food & Transport
๐ Entire apartment located within the high school (two bedrooms and an office)
๐ฝ๏ธ Full board at the school restaurant from Monday lunch to Friday lunch
๐ณ Cooking facilities available in the apartment outside school restaurant hours
๐ค Participant Profile
๐ Aged 18โ30
๐งฉ Autonomous, adaptable, and able to work in a team
๐ป Comfortable with basic digital tools (word processing, spreadsheets, Canva or equivalent)
๐ Interested in education and youth work (future teachers welcome)
๐ฃ๏ธ Good level of English; some French is an asset
๐ฑ Sensitive to sustainable development and culture in its various forms
