🧭 About the Volunteering Opportunity
Building Link Short-Term Sociocultural Animation is an European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering project hosted by ASOCIACION LA ROTLLANA in Badalona, Spain. The project focuses on community-based youth work, sociocultural animation, and active participation, especially during summer activities. Volunteers will work alongside professionals and other volunteers to support youth, teenagers, and children through inclusive, creative, and participatory actions aimed at strengthening community bonds and fighting social exclusion.

🎪 Support summer activities including summer camps and community square programmes
👫 Take part in youth participation and volunteering initiatives
🎨 Co-design and implement new activities open to the local community
🧠 Engage in leadership activities with children, teenagers, and young people
📣 Support communication and dissemination activities, including social media
🤝 Work closely with professionals and volunteers in a community youth centre

🎂 Aged 18–30
🗣️ Spanish language is mandatory due to direct work with minors
🌍 Experience in volunteering or social inclusion contexts is required
🤍 Motivated to work against stereotypes, racism, and social exclusion
🎓 Interested in experiential learning and non-formal education
🤝 Flexible, open-minded, and comfortable in an intercultural environment
📲 Interest in communication and social media is an asset

⏱️ Working time approximately 37.5 hours per week including occasional Saturdays

🏡 Individual room in a shared volunteer flat (short shared period possible)
🚿 Fully equipped accommodation with Wi-Fi, heating, and shared bathrooms

💶 Monthly pocket money provided according to ESC rules
