🌱 Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Individual Volunteering opportunity takes place in Hameln, Germany 🇩🇪 and focuses on youth work, open youth spaces, community inclusion, and prevention activities. The project is based in an open cultural and educational centre where young people aged 13–26 can freely participate in social, cultural, and creative activities in a safe and welcoming environment.

🎯 Volunteering Activities
Volunteers will be actively involved in daily youth work and community-based activities, including:
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Supporting open youth space activities and direct interaction with local young people
🎨 Assisting with creative workshops such as cooking, baking, theatre, music, crafts, and sports
🎉 Helping organise workshops, events, and community parties
🛡️ Participating in youth culture and prevention-focused activities
♿ Contributing to inclusion work and activities with different community groups, including senior citizens
🤝 Building trust-based relationships with young people and local residents

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport
🏠 Shared house in Hameln with private room
🌐 Internet access, shared bathroom and kitchen
🍽️ Monthly food allowance: 333 EUR
💰 Monthly pocket money: 210 EUR
🚲 Bicycle provided for daily mobility
🚆 Travel costs for mandatory seminars reimbursed

🎓 Training During the Activity
📘 Participation in two mandatory ESC seminars in different German cities
🧠 Regular reflection meetings to support learning and personal development

📚 Additional trainings before, during, and after the volunteering period
