๐ฑ Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Individual Volunteering opportunity takes place in Hameln, Germany ๐ฉ๐ช and focuses on youth work, open youth spaces, community inclusion, and prevention activities. The project is based in an open cultural and educational centre where young people aged 13โ26 can freely participate in social, cultural, and creative activities in a safe and welcoming environment.
๐ฏ Volunteering Activities
Volunteers will be actively involved in daily youth work and community-based activities, including:
๐งโ๐คโ๐ง Supporting open youth space activities and direct interaction with local young people
๐จ Assisting with creative workshops such as cooking, baking, theatre, music, crafts, and sports
๐ Helping organise workshops, events, and community parties
๐ก๏ธ Participating in youth culture and prevention-focused activities
โฟ Contributing to inclusion work and activities with different community groups, including senior citizens
๐ค Building trust-based relationships with young people and local residents
๐ก Accommodation, Food & Transport
๐ Shared house in Hameln with private room
๐ Internet access, shared bathroom and kitchen
๐ฝ๏ธ Monthly food allowance: 333 EUR
๐ฐ Monthly pocket money: 210 EUR
๐ฒ Bicycle provided for daily mobility
๐ Travel costs for mandatory seminars reimbursed
๐ Training During the Activity
๐ Participation in two mandatory ESC seminars in different German cities
๐ง Regular reflection meetings to support learning and personal development
๐ฃ๏ธ Language course available with cost support
๐ Additional trainings before, during, and after the volunteering period

๐ Aged 18โ30
๐ค Open, communicative, and confident in engaging with new people
๐ Interested in local community work and youth culture
๐ฏ Welcoming attitude and curiosity about peopleโs needs and perspectives
๐จ Skills or hobbies in public relations, creative fields, or leisure activities are an advantage
