🌟 About the Project
Become part of a powerful social mission in Adana, Türkiye 🇹🇷, supporting Thalassemia patients ❤️, raising awareness on blood disorders, and contributing to vital public-health campaigns. This short-term ESC experience combines meaningful NGO work, community engagement, and cultural immersion in one of Türkiye’s warmest Mediterranean cities.

💡 Your Role & Impact
As a volunteer, you will actively support the daily work of Kan Hastalıkları Derneği, helping improve the lives of patients and their families. Your tasks may include:
📂 Office support, archiving, data entry, coordination
🩸 Assisting blood-donation campaigns & health-awareness events
👨‍👩‍👧 Supporting patient workshops, family sessions & community activities
✨ Bringing positivity, initiative, and empathy into every task

🏡 Accommodation & Daily Support
You’ll live in a shared, fully furnished volunteer apartment 🏠, equipped with Wi-Fi, utilities, and basic needs.
🍽️ Monthly food allowance
💶 Pocket money (according to ESC standards)
You’ll cook together, share responsibilities, and create a warm community home.

🎓 Training & Learning Experience
You will receive:
🎯 Non-formal training for working with patients & families
🧠 Soft-skills development: facilitation, group dynamics, energizers
🗣️ Turkish language lessons
👥 Continuous mentorship from experienced staff
