Project Overview
This unique ESC volunteering opportunity invites talented young musicians to join a special swing band supporting communities affected by Dana in the Valencia region. Volunteers will perform concerts, participate in social and educational activities, and contribute to community recovery efforts — all while collaborating with French musicians, local organisations and vibrant cultural groups. 🎷🎶🌍💛

Your Main Tasks
🎺 Join a swing band as a brass or wind musician (clarinet, trombone, saxophone, flute, etc.)
🎸 Participate as a bassist, guitarist or drummer depending on your skills
🎤 Contribute as a singer, dancer (Lindy Hop) or even as a videomaker if musically skilled
🎼 Perform four concerts for local municipalities
👧 Take part in occasional educational activities for children
🏘️ Support reconstruction and community recovery actions
👵 Visit senior centres and join social events
🚐 Assist with stage work; driving an old van is a plus
🎥 Applicants must send a video demonstrating their musical skills

Accommodation, Food & Transport
🏡 Shared volunteer house “Casa Jazmín” in Sanet or nearby areas
🛏️ Recently renovated facility with bunkbeds, shared rooms (4–6 people) and bathrooms
🍳 Volunteers cook together with guidance from camp leaders
🛠️ Small renovation tasks may be assigned
🧳 Travel arrangements according to ESC rules

Training During the Activity
🎓 Gain key competences through non-formal learning
🌍 Improve personal, professional and intercultural skills
📘 Earn a YouthPass certificate at the end of your service

Participant Profile
🎶 Highly motivated young people with strong musical skills
🎷 Brass & wind players preferred; bassists, guitarists and drummers welcome
💃 Lindy hop dancers, singers & videomakers accepted if musically capable
🚐 Stage assistants who can drive are also needed
📹 A video demonstrating musical ability + CV is mandatory
🤝 Volunteers with fewer opportunities are encouraged to apply
