Park Istra is a long-standing solidarity project supporting the development of one of Slovenia’s most disadvantaged yet stunning regions. Volunteers contribute to meaningful activities that bring long-term benefits to local people and protect the area’s natural and cultural heritage.

As a volunteer, you will:
🌾 Support local projects such as harvests, renovation works & community initiatives
🤝 Assist local organisations and associations (including local Red Cross groups)
🌍 Help preserve natural and cultural heritage in the Istrian region
👶 Organise workshops and educational activities for children and seniors
🏘️ Work closely with the community to foster sustainable living

Accommodation, Food & Transport

🏡 Shared volunteer house in the Park Istra community
💶 Approx. €300 monthly pocket money
✈️ Round-trip travel covered
🩺 Health insurance & repatriation included

Participant Profile

This project is suitable for someone who:
✨ Is 18–30 years old
🌿 Enjoys rural life and manual, outdoor work
🤝 Is open-minded, motivated and ready to engage with the community
🏠 Preferably male (due to accommodation arrangement)
