This ESC opportunity places volunteers at the heart of the Poverty to Power programme, supporting children facing social exclusion, poverty, forced marriage, violence, abuse, and educational deprivation.
Your contribution will directly empower some of the most vulnerable children in Serbia. ๐
As an Education Assistant, you will:
๐จ Facilitate creative, non-formal education workshops (arts, crafts, drawing, puppetry, languages)
๐ Provide one-on-one learning support & homework help
๐ค Build caring, positive relationships with children
๐งฉ Collaborate with other volunteers & staff to develop engaging activities
๐ Monitor progress and help adjust the educational programme
๐๏ธ Cooperate with key institutions including the Center for Social Care and Center for Migrants
๐ Support Roma children, children in shelters, and refugee children
Accommodation, Food & Transport
๐ก Private room in a large shared apartment
๐ฝ๏ธ Monthly allowance: 470 EUR (meals, communication, local transport)
๐ Public bus transport provided; EHO cars available when required
