๐ About the Project
Welcome to the Wohnverbund Tannenhof in Wilhelmshaven, Germany ๐ฉ๐ช โ a warm, community-focused living environment where 22 residents with different support needs receive daily assistance, enrichment, and care. Hosted by the Paritรคtischer Wohlfahrtsverband Niedersachsen e.V., this ESC project invites motivated young people from across Europe and partner countries ๐ to join a meaningful year of service, learning, and intercultural exchange.
๐ฌ What You Will Do
Volunteers assist experienced staff members with:
- โจ Daily support & personal care (washing, dressing, mobility)
- ๐ Encouraging residents to join activities, therapy, or events
- ๐ Accompanying residents during shopping, meals out, and local outings
- ๐งน Housekeeping tasks (room organisation, laundry, meal prep)
- ๐ฟ Supporting daytime activities in the garden houseย Treffpunkt Sonnenseite, especially for retired residents
- ๐จ Bringing creativity, motivation, and new ideas into everyday life
Your role is valued, guided, and part of a strong, supportive team.
๐ก Accommodation, Food & Benefits
You will live together with 8 international volunteers from different countries ๐ in shared accommodation in Wilhelmshaven.
