🌍 About the Project

HECANSA (Hoteles Escuela de Canarias, S.A.) is a public institution under the Government of the Canary Islands, offering dual vocational training through real hotel and restaurant environments.
Volunteers will participate in the daily life of hotel schools in Gran Canaria and Tenerife, working side by side with students, trainers, and hospitality professionals.

This project helps you build valuable skills in tourism management, communication, and teamwork — all in one of the most beautiful regions of Europe! 🇪🇸

🏨 What You Will Do

During your volunteering journey, you will:
🍴 Work in hotel departments such as housekeeping, food & beverage, and reception.
💬 Assist with language conversation classes using non-formal education tools.
🎓 Support the educational department in training activities.
📋 Help with event management, hotel operations, and guest relations.
🌐 Experience real-life tourism work while representing European values of solidarity and cooperation.

We are looking for motivated young people who are:
✅ Aged 18–30 and citizens of EU Programme Countries.
✅ Interested in hospitality, tourism, or customer service.

✅ Able to communicate in Spanish (minimum B1 level required).
✅ Responsible, adaptable, and eager to learn in an international setting.
