๐Ÿ’ฌ About the Project

Would you like to dedicate a few months to meaningful service while discovering the culture and community spirit of Slovakia? ๐Ÿ™Œ

The European Solidarity Corps project hosted by VIAC โ€“ Institute for Youth Support and Development in Trstenรก, Slovakia ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฐ, offers a unique opportunity for young people to volunteer in a Christian Catholic environment, support youth activities, and grow both personally and spiritually.

This 4-month volunteering experience combines community engagement, creativity, and cultural learning, welcoming open-minded young people ready to contribute and learn from daily life in a close-knit Catholic community. ๐ŸŒฟโœจ


๐Ÿ“ Location

Trstenรก, Slovakia ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฐ
Volunteers will live in fully equipped shared flats in Trstenรก or Tvrdoลกรญn, two small and peaceful towns surrounded by the scenic nature of northern Slovakia.

๐ŸŽฏ Main Activities

๐Ÿ’ซ Support youth programs, workshops, and local events
๐ŸŽฅ Create posters, videos, and visual materials for the organisation
๐Ÿค Help with daily community work and educational activities
๐ŸŽจ Contribute your creativity to promote solidarity and values
๐ŸŒ Participate in cultural exchange and faith-based initiatives

Through these activities, volunteers will experience teamwork, intercultural learning, and community-building while sharing Christian values in an inclusive environment.


๐Ÿงญ Training & Support

Youโ€™ll receive an onboarding orientation from VIACโ€™s team, plus on-arrival and mid-term training from the Slovak National Agency.
Mentors and staff will guide you through personal projects, reflection sessions, and cultural adaptation. ๐ŸŒฑ


๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Accommodation & Living

  • Shared accommodation (flats in Trstenรก or Tvrdoลกรญn)
  • Pocket money and food allowance provided monthly
  • Lunch can be arranged at the organisation
  • Travel costs reimbursed according to Erasmus+ distance rules

All basic living expenses are covered by the ESC programme. ๐Ÿ’ถ
