๐ฌ About the Project
Step into one of Italyโs oldest and most magical traditions โ the Carnival of Satriano di Lucania! ๐ฟ๐ญ
Hosted by Associazione Basilicata Link APS and organized in collaboration with Associazione Al Parco, this European Solidarity Corps team project invites 10 young volunteers to join the local community in bringing this centuries-old celebration to life.
In the heart of Lucano Apennine National Park, youโll become part of โThe Walking Forestโ โ helping prepare costumes, supporting eco-friendly festival initiatives, and experiencing a unique fusion of nature, culture, and art.
This is not just volunteering โ itโs living a story where myth, tradition, and sustainability meet. ๐โจ
