๐ About the Opportunity
This ESC volunteering project in Montdidier, France ๐ซ๐ท is hosted by Fondation Apprentis dโAuteuil, an organisation with over 200 youth centres supporting more than 40,000 disadvantaged young people and families across the country. The project focuses on strengthening family bonds, supporting young people in difficulty, and helping parents and children engage in learning, creativity, and community life.
๐ง๐จโ๐ฉโ๐ง Main Activities
Volunteers will take part in meaningful, community-based activities such as:
๐จ Organising creative and educational workshops (environment, ecology, digital skills, food, wellbeing)
๐งฉ Running games, awareness sessions, and intercultural activities
๐ฑ Supporting children and families in extracurricular learning and leisure activities
๐ค Assisting with community integration initiatives
๐ฌ Helping create a friendly, welcoming, and safe space for families to meet and connect
๐ซ Working alongside social workers and educators to support local youth and parents

๐ก Accommodation, Food & Transport
Volunteers will be hosted directly in Montdidier, a peaceful rural town of 6,000 people in northern France ๐ซ๐ท.
Accommodation options include:
๐ Furnished studio for independent living
๐๏ธ Shared house (family or intergenerational)
Transport support includes:
๐ Allowance for local transport pass
๐ A car may be made available during leisure time
Amiens can be reached in 40 minutes by train from Montdidier.
