About the Project

Join the Centro Fonti San Lorenzo APS in Recanati, Italy for a meaningful volunteering experience where art, food, and community blend into one vibrant cultural hub!

The ESC in ASK | Art | Social | Kitchen project invites one passionate volunteer to explore sustainability through creative action, food education, and cultural exchange. Volunteers will contribute to workshops, social events, and artistic initiatives promoting new forms of environmental, social, and economic sustainability.

๐Ÿ“ Location: Recanati, Italy
๐Ÿ‘ค Number of Volunteers: 1
๐Ÿข Host Organisation: Centro Fonti San Lorenzo APS
๐Ÿ’ฌ Working language: English (basic Italian is a plus)


๐ŸŒฟ Project Description

The project takes place at ASK โ€“ Art | Social | Kitchen, a creative community space in Recanati that promotes dialogue, participation, and sustainability through culture and food. ๐Ÿฒ

Volunteers will help organize and animate a wide range of initiatives:
๐Ÿด Food education workshops on sustainable consumption and reducing waste
๐ŸŽญ Cultural events โ€“ concerts, readings, film screenings, intercultural nights, and linguistic tandems
๐ŸŒ Social engagement activities connecting children, youth, and elderly residents
๐Ÿงฉ Workshops and community labs focusing on creativity, inclusion, and responsible citizenship

ASK is more than a cultural space โ€“ itโ€™s a living laboratory of coexistence and creativity, where volunteers become active contributors to local life and intercultural dialogue.


๐Ÿก Accommodation & Living Conditions

Volunteers will stay in a shared apartment in Recanati, just a 1-minute walk from the cultural center and 15 minutes from the city center.

๐Ÿ  Shared twin rooms
๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Monthly allowance for food and pocket money
๐Ÿš† Travel reimbursement according to European Commission rules


๐Ÿง  Training & Mentorship

The volunteer will participate in:
๐Ÿ“š On-Arrival and Mid-Term Trainings by the Italian National Agency
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Italian language support
๐Ÿค Continuous guidance and mentorship from the hosting team


๐Ÿ‘ค Participant Profile

We are looking for one female volunteer who is:
๐Ÿ’ฌ Communicative, open-minded, and creative
๐Ÿค— Motivated to work daily with children, youth, and elderly people
๐ŸŒˆ Respectful, flexible, and ready to adapt to changes
๐ŸŽจ Interested in culture, sustainability, and teamwork
