About the Project

Join a meaningful 4-month volunteering adventure in Onești and Mănăstirea Cașin, Romania! 🌿

The Merry Go Bloom project, hosted by Asociația de Tineret Onestin, offers a unique opportunity to live, learn, and contribute to the local community through creativity, inclusion, and teamwork. Volunteers will design workshops, support community initiatives, and engage in intercultural learning experiences that foster both personal and social growth.

🌻 Main Activities

💡 Creative & intercultural workshops – Design and run activities for teenagers that promote creativity, teamwork, and cultural understanding.
🏡 Community projects – Support maintenance, cleaning, and local initiatives that benefit the town and village communities.
🧒 Work with children – Organize games, learning sessions, and informal support for underprivileged kids in Mănăstirea Cașin.
🌱 Sustainable living & teamwork – Experience collective living, share responsibilities, and develop a sense of community through daily cooperation.

🏠 Accommodation & Practical Info

Volunteers will live in shared community housing, including rooms, a kitchen, and bathrooms. This shared lifestyle encourages teamwork, responsibility, and intercultural bonding.

🚌 Local transportation will be provided for project-related activities.
💶 Volunteers receive monthly support of €240 (food allowance + pocket money).
🍽️ Shared cooking, community meals, and house maintenance are part of the daily rhythm.

🧭 Training & Support

🌍 On-Arrival Training – Organized by the Romanian National Agency, introducing you to ESC principles and project life.
💬 Mentoring sessions – Every two weeks with an external mentor for personal development.
🧩 Coaching & reflection – Weekly meetings with the Onestin team to track learning progress and celebrate milestones.
