🌍 About the Program
Las Niñas del Tul is thrilled to invite volunteers from around the globe to partake in Folking 2024, a unique event that uses cultural activities to foster inclusion and educate youth. Held in the beautiful province of Granada, this initiative aims to:
- Enhance active participation and mobility among youths 🚀
- Foster mutual understanding across diverse cultures 🤝
- Provide a rich intercultural learning experience 🌐
🕺💃 Activities Include:
Volunteers will help organize and participate in folklore activities, mainly focusing on traditional dances from their own countries. You’ll also play a key role in supporting the ParapandaFolk music festival, showcasing your culture and traditions.
🏠 Accommodation & Logistics
- Stay in a hostel-like public building with shared bedrooms and bathrooms 🛌
- Manage your own meals with provided funds 🍽️
- Convenient public transport from Granada, with travel costs reimbursed 💼
📚 Training Provided
No specific prior skills needed—just bring your ability to teach basic traditional dances! You’ll learn everything else on the ground, ensuring you’re ready to make a meaningful contribution.
👥 Volunteer Profile
We’re looking for 12 young individuals (18-30 years old) from various countries. Ideal candidates are:
- Interested in traditions and folklore 🎭
- Keen on engaging with all age groups in cultural activities 🌟
- Motivated, flexible, and cooperative 🌍
