🌟 About the Project
In an age of overwhelming information, fake news, and fast-changing social realities, critical thinking has never been more essential.
The Erasmus+ training course “eMINDcipation: Critical Thinking for a More Inclusive and Sustainable Society”will gather youth and social workers from France 🇫🇷, Belgium 🇧🇪, Greece 🇬🇷, and Spain 🇪🇸 in the countryside of Rabastens, South-West France, for a powerful learning experience that combines theory, reflection, and practice.
Through interactive workshops, field activities, and intercultural exchange, participants will question biases, challenge assumptions, and explore how to build a more inclusive and sustainable world — starting with their own perspectives.
🎯 Objectives
- 🧠 Strengthen critical thinking and media literacy skills among youth workers.
- 🤝 Promote tolerance, inclusion, and diversity in communities.
- 🌍 Encourage intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding.
- 🌱 Support participants in developing tools and methods for non-formal education focused on sustainability.
- 💡 Inspire creative and responsible action towards building a fairer society.
👥 Participant Profile
Open to youth workers, social educators, and active citizens (18+) from:
🇫🇷 France • 🇧🇪 Belgium • 🇬🇷 Greece • 🇪🇸 Spain
Participants should be:
- 🗣️ Actively involved in youth work or community initiatives
- 💬 Open to sharing and questioning personal beliefs and attitudes
- 🌿 Interested in critical thinking, inclusion, and sustainability
- 🌍 Eager to engage with diverse perspectives and cultures
- 🤝 Committed to full participation throughout the programme
No technical background is required — just curiosity, motivation, and an open mind!
🧭 Programme Overview
Theme: Critical Thinking for a More Inclusive & Sustainable Society
Dates: 8–15 November 2025
Example Activities:
- 🌍 Workshops on media literacy, bias, and cognitive reflection
- 📰 Fieldwork with local partners (podcast, independent press, art projects)
- 💬 Group debates and intercultural discussions
- 🎨 Creative sessions on addressing complex social issues
- 🤝 Community living activities to promote teamwork and shared responsibility
🏡 Venue & Accommodation
- 📍 Location: Rabastens, near Toulouse, France 🇫🇷
- 🏠 Participants will stay in local guesthouses and Airbnbs in shared rooms.
- 🥗 Meals: Vegetarian, local, and seasonal food prepared by a cook.
- 🧳 Participants are responsible for maintaining shared spaces — an essential part of the non-formal learning approach promoting community and cooperation.
Bring: warm clothes (November can be chilly!), water bottle, rain jacket, notebook, and a curious mindset!
💶 Costs & Reimbursement
- ✈️ Travel, accommodation, food, and training costs are fully covered by the Erasmus+ Programme.
- 💰 Travel costs reimbursed according to official Erasmus+ distance bands (proof required).
- 🧾 Participants must keep all tickets, invoices, and boarding passes for reimbursement.
- 💬 Each sending organisation may request a small administrative contribution.
