โœจ About the Project

Disinformation is the fertile soil where extremism grows ๐ŸŒฑ. This training course equips youth leaders, activists, and educators with the tools to decode extremist narratives, counter online disinformation, and promote democratic values.

Organised by International Young Naturefriends (IYNF), the program combines theory, practice, and simulations to foster resilience against harmful digital narratives while building strategies for democratic engagement. Participants will also co-create Argumentation Cards, a practical resource for youth work and activism.


๐ŸŽฏ Objectives

  • Understand and decode extremist discourse.
  • Learn about disinformation and digital risks.
  • Develop crisis communication strategies for online spaces.
  • Co-create educational tools for activism and youth work.

By the end of the training, you will:
โœ… Critically analyze manipulative content.
โœ… Strengthen argumentation and digital engagement.
โœ… Build strategies to promote democracy in online/offline youth work.

  • Young people (16โ€“30) engaged in youth work, activism, or political engagement.
  • Youth workers and trainers who want toย tackle extremism & disinformation.
  • Open to participants from Council of Europe member states.
  • Priority for those in theย IYNF 2025 learning cycle.

  • Participation fee:ย โ‚ฌ50 (members) / โ‚ฌ75โ€“100 (non-members). Fee reductions or waivers possible under solidarity principle.
  • Travel reimbursementย according to Erasmus+ and IYNF rules. Preference forย green travel optionsย (bus, train). โœˆ๏ธ only when necessary.
