🌟 About the Project
Union Plaani will host 4 ESC volunteers from across Europe to:
- Support grassroots football training ⚽
- Contribute to youth activities & workshops 👦👧
- Help organize community events like Plaanilandia 🎉
- Collaborate with schools & local partners 🏫
- Promote solidarity, diversity & inclusion across the community 🌍
The project is about personal growth, teamwork, and cultural exchange — making Heinola an even more vibrant, inclusive place.
🏠 Accommodation, Food & Allowance
- Shared apartment with private rooms + shared kitchen/bathroom 🏡
- Monthly allowance: €200 food + €7/day pocket money 💶
- Bicycles provided 🚲; winter support/bus cards when needed 🚌
- Travel reimbursement according to ESC distance rules ✈️
🎓 Training & Support
- On-arrival orientation & Finnish language support 🇫🇮
- Training in grassroots coaching & event planning 📚
- Weekly reflection meetings & Youthpass certificate 📝
- ESC-organized on-arrival & mid-term training 🌟
👤 Participant Profile
We’re looking for 4 motivated volunteers (18–30) who are:
- Excited about sports, youth work, or community engagement
- Open-minded, adaptable, and motivated to learn 🌍
- Comfortable working both independently and in a team
- With good English skills for daily communication 💬
⚽ Previous football or coaching experience is welcome but not required! Union Plaani encourages applications from young people with fewer opportunities or diverse backgrounds.
